Scottish Winner - Bernard Thain of Fencebay

Throughout the summer, UKTV Food asked for votes for Regional Local Food Heroes from 10 regions of the UK. They were looking for businesses who exhibited passion for food, maintained the highest possible quality of their produce, worked to help the local community and used sustainable resources.

The public voted for their "Local Heroes", then the Gary Rhodes judged the winner in each region of Britain, - Scotland counting as one region!

Bernard Thain of Fencebay was judged to be the Scottish Winner The UK finals included the winners of all 10 regions of the UK. Fencebay was placed third overall. The regional and UK finals were televised on UKTV Food. Thanks to all our customers who voted for us and who have supported us throughout the year.
